Santiago Hoyos

I’m an audio and sound engineer based in London. My work spans acoustic consultancy, AV systems design, and audio software development: I built a 6-band parametric EQ VST3/AU plugin in C++/JUCE, a polyphonic iOS synthesiser in Swift/AudioKit, and a gesture-controlled MIDI controller using a BBC micro:bit and Pure Data during my MSc at the University of York.

The MSc included a dissertation collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment on spatial audio and scattering. I’ve been working in spatial audio contexts for 3+ years.

Alongside the audio work I build my own AI tooling: a personal orchestration system that routes tasks across local and cloud language models, with persistent memory and scheduled autonomous agents, and automation that turns CAD drawings into AV documentation.
